Overturned Tractor-Trailer Closes I-95 Northbound Lanes In Bristol Township

An overturned tractor-trailer caused the northbound lanes of I-95 in Bristol Township to close early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

First responders arrived at I-95 at Exit 40 near Fort Road around 9:40 a.m., where they found an overturned tractor-trailer carrying bread products partially down the embankment after colliding with a Nissan Maxima, according to Cpl. Holly Reber-Billings with PA State Police.

Rescue crews extricated the truck driver through the windshield, and both drivers were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries, officials said.

The earliest expected opening of the ramp will be 3:30 p.m., officials said.
